The Law of Attraction - Rule #2
Rule # 2
Ask
"...you have not because you do not ask." Jam 4:2
We live in a world where only a selected few live in abundance. The rest struggle through life; living from one paycheque to another. 90 % of the world has become slaves of money, barely surviving. What's missing? Aren't we all suppose to live a life with abundance (Joh 10:10)? Sometimes we all miss one vital thing: we forget or rather, refuse to ask.
"... and when you ask, you do not receive, because you ask out of selfishness" Jam 4:3
But then, if we do not ask, what do we do in its place? Many times when we do not ask we depend on ourselves. We strive towards our selfish desires by means of force, wars, fights, jealousy and/or envy. We focus more on what we want than on what other people want. Only once we show our vulnerability and dependency by asking, can we start to receive what are really ours, but only so then when we become completely selfless.
Newton's third law states that for every force there is an equal but opposite force. I believe that this law is not only applicable to material objects, but also to what we radiate through our being. As we strive towards our selfish desires by means of fights and jealousy, we receive negativity, because that is exactly what we give to the world through our interaction with it. Only when we start to ask and through principle centered action do we start to draw towards us the positivity of the world.
"Ask, and you will receive. Search, and you will find. Knock, and the door will be opened for you." Mat 7:7
For all who ask with complete selflessness, and still only live from month to month, the key lies in action. God's contribution to this equation is to direct your steps, to open doors and to shower his grace on you.5AF Your part in the equation is to make the plans (Pro 16:9), to keep your eyes open for the opportunities that you seek for and then the discretion and boldness to take it when the doors are opened.
So, where do you fit in?
- A life wherein you live without principles because you refuse to ask
- A life wherein you ask but are a victim of circumstances; not taking action
- A life wherein you ask and take every gracious opportunity with boldness
Maybe if you truly and honestly search your whole being and heart will you experience the fullness and abundance of life; not only in your finances but in every aspect of your life.
