Samsung McLaren Z720 Mobile Phone Guide and Review

The Samsung McLaren Z720 is a special edition version of the original Samsung Z720 mobile phone. The original Samsung Z720 was black but McLaren version is silver with a red trim. It has been released by Vodafone in the UK to celebrate their sponsorship of the Formula 1 racing team McLaren Mercedes. The Vodafone McLaren Mercedes Formula 1 team are leading the 2007 championship with style due to their young new driver Louis Hamilton. He entered Formula 1 for the first time this season and, at the age of 22, has finishes on the podium in ten of his eleven races. This special edition Samsung mobile phone can be seen as a celebration of his incredible achievement.

Specifications

The Samsung McLaren Z720 has almost identical features to the original Samsung Z720. It has a megapixel camera, MP3 player, Bluetooth and a speakerphone. It is a 3G phone with a talk-time of about 3.5 hours and standby of 220 hours. The thing that makes this phone stand out so well from it's competitors is the styling. The original Samsung Z720 is a stylish, good looking phone; however this version is considerably better looking as it has a silver finish and a fantastic red trim. This is easily the best looking phone available in the UK today.

Review

The phone looks great and functions very well. Like all modern Samsungs it is very easy to use. The screen is superb and the navigation simple. The MP3 player and camera are certainly very usable and the memory capacity can be expanded to allow you to store more of your photos and music. As with all modern smart mobile phones the battery life, in reality, is not great. However, this is likely to be a problem with any modern mobile phone with great features. There are now several portable mobile phone charging options available very cheaply in the UK, from car chargers to solar panels, so this should not deter you too much. All round the Samsung McLaren Z720 a great phone that looks superb. The exclusivity of the phone is assured, given that it is only available on contract through Vodafone, and you will be sure to stand out from the crowd.
